no, it will not fit. Why do you want to revert the bike's model year?

I've been looking for a used 05 one but i am not having luck. I went to a nearby motorcycle junk yard, and they have a 03 one there, i was hoping it would fit, the worker said it looked pretty similar. it did look similar but yeah.
