For this years winter (if it ever shows up) I got a set of Bikemaster Heated Grips. I quickly threw them onto the bike yesterday and just hooked them directly onto the battery to test them.
Now I want to integrate the grips with the bike so that they shut completely off when the bike is off. I...
Any recommendations on where to connect positive wire for heated grips on a 05 FZ6.

I am the 3rd owner of a 05 FZ6 and trying to extend the season as long as possible here in the NE and thus looking to install heated grips however it seems the allen bolt inside the bar end is stripped and I can't remove it. Tried inserting a torx bit of similar size, hammering it in and using...
Hello, I have a small dilemma here.. I had bar end mirrors but one of them got damaged (bent screw) and I had to take them out.. now with them out I thought maybe I should install some new bar ends ..but those won't allow me to install bar end mirros anymore .. hmmm? I also have heated grips so...

When you're going for a ride and it's 37 degrees, do not ride 2 hours North
Heated gear or not, I got very cold today.. still had a great ride :D
I ride all year round to commute to work 5 days a week, except when there is snow/ice on the roads (a few days a year really). I'm not bothered by wind and rain and actually prefer that to being too hot! However, it's not safe to ride when your hands are so cold you can't feel them and not much...
Hi Everyone,
Just purchased BikeMaster Heated Grips. All my searching on this forum has said to either go directly to the battery or get a relay. However the Bikemaster directions say to ground the black wire and attached the red to the key on switch.
Anyone else have these specific grips...
