Well last weekend I was at Castle Combe Circuit for the Fowlers Pro-Bike race meeting. :thumbup: It was a special anniversary, celebrating 60 years of motorcycling at the circuit and I was taking part in the Parade. I was riding bike number 118, built in 1951 !!! It's a 350cc flat twin...

You guessed it, went to start the bike this morning and the starter motor bearly went round and then it's a click click click . . . flat battery :eek: Hadn't ridden it for a week :spank: and the week before only rode 10 miles each day to and from work, so it never got a proper run/charge...

I spotted a Black Fazer S2 with stock bulbs and "1 headlight out" ;) behind me this morning about 7:30am on the A4 in Newbury . . . Rider had a blue'ish Shoei helmet and I had my Givi box, Hi-Viz, caberg helmet . . . Hello if that was you . . . :D Should we have a SPOTTED section ?

Finally I got to ride these 2 lovely machines this weekend . . . :D Triumph Tiger 100 and Triumph Trophy both 500 twins but interestingly different gearshifts. The Tiger was 1 UP and 3 DOWN and the Trophy was 1 DOWN and 3 UP, oh and both were RIGHT FOOT shifting !!!! So as I'd riden on the...

Now, don't all scoff . . . . :eek: I've just spotted that Lidl are going to have their Motorcyle Gear in next Thursday 11th Mar, and thought I'd let you all know. At least they're not doing helmets this year, so there'll not be the long flaming :eyebrow: of them selling helmets of unknown...
