Hey FZ6er's. I sold my fizzer back in 2010 but hung on to my jacket in case I got another Yamy. Fast forward to today and I did get another bike but not a Yamaha. (It's a Honda shadow phantom for those with inquiring minds) Anyway I feel pretty ridiculous wearing a racing jacket with YAMAHA...

The time has come for me to say goodbye to the fizzer, just not riding it enough to justify the maintenance costs. It has had the oil...

If you run out of the Silicone, Pam (the stuff you spray on the frying pan) works just as well. Also works good for getting the bugs off of plastic bumpers and cowl/windscreens if you live in a buggy area

Same bag different mount style. The cortech bag can be bought to mount either by strap or magnet. For the purposes of this poll I was referring to the Magnet style
I think that if they are going to make any changes it would be to get rid of the half fairing on the fz6. Yamaha doesn't have a real "naked" bike since we have a bit of fairing up at the top. just my 2c
Have you put the FZ1 handlebars on? I had the exact same problem after I put them on stock. It was really wobbly, and super sensitive. My fix was cutting them down an inch on either side(2" total) Since the FZ1 bars are a bit wider and more straight they give you more leverage on the forks...
What ever you do, hop on the thruway once you get to the end of I88, Trying to find your way through Rotterdam/Schenectady on Rt 7 can be a royal pain, and also take you about 45 minutes more.
They're talking about coming from the southern middle part of the state, they're not even remotely...
Obsess much?:rof:
OK saw the IMAX, honestly save the 5 bucks and see it on a good regular theater. Digital projection if you can(doesn't cost anymore and regal cinema's advertises it)
I saw it Saturday in digital projection, and it was awesome. I'm going to see it today with my father at the IMAX, so having seen both I'll let you all know if it's worth the extra 5-6 bucks a ticket. Everything about this movie was perfect, I've never seen a long running franchise film that I...
Ironic isn't it that we have an amateur stunting on some back road and the music playing over it is about how all the guys friends growing up F'd up their lives:spank:
Thats the small side of the lake too. Behind the camera is another 10-15 miles of lake to the other end. Most of the state looks like that, also the US national park system was based off of the NYS Park system. Hence the lack of any national parks in NY. I think there's only one very small...
I have to agree with most I've seen on here. I have my policy through State Farm and full coverage is $230 for the whole year, $500 deductible, and 250/500 on liability. Shop around for sure.
Edit:
Also I'm 26, have never been married, no kids, and only 1 car. I also have no "current" points...
