Basically, in 1st gear when I hit roughly 6000 rpm the engine/exhaust starts making a 'duel noise' - the engine sounds like it's starting to strain. Then at 10000 rpm the bike loses power and actually starts to slow down!! It feels like a massive dip in power. Anyone any ideas please?

My log book says that my next (second) service is at 6000 miles. Should I have changed my oil before this (not counting the 600 mile service which I've already had done). If I wait for the 6000 miles, what are the bad points of keeping the same oil all that time? Cheers

Why can I only get about 12 litres of petrol in my tank if it's a 19 litre tank? I guess I'm being really stupid but I've just filled it up as far as I could get it and I could only get just over 12 litres in it? What?
