Hey guys!
Looking to sell a brand new, never been worn, set of Gaerne track boots. They are still in the box, and are US size 10.
Looking for $300 shipped OBO. If you are interested, please PM me or shoot me an email at [email protected].
Thanks!
While the $250 price tag may seem expensive, it is actually very competitive with anything else similar. Also, consider what you are getting:
FULLY lined with kevlar, no seams
fully lined with moisture wicking mesh for comfort and coolness (unique)
CE approved hip and knee protection...

Link fixed, thanks for the heads up.
Not sure about donating a pair, but I will certainly be reporting back with more info once I get personal experience to harp on.
I think most riders will be very pleased when considering ALL factors such as price, protection, style, comfort, flex...
Fellow riders don't realize the outcome of an accident while wearing regular denim jeans (article):

It will be a track bike and weekend warrior for fun. The bike was dropped by the previous owner so the right side fairing is slightly damaged. Lucky for me, the brunt of the drop was taken on the slider which I already replaced and the rear set which was replaced with a set of Vortex units...
Thanks man. And yea, it will suck when I inevitably put her down on the track. I got fork, swingarm, and frame sliders and will prob get a nice set of Woodcraft 3 piece clip ons so hopefully it will be nearly bomb proof (minus the plastics) for most crashes at the track.
Want to get heavily involved in riding track next year so a few months ago I started perusing CL everyday in search of an affordable track bike. After a few weeks I came across one that I really liked, a 2006 Ninja ZX6-R. After talking with the owner for a few days, I was able to secure a...

Highly suggest you do either the BD43 wiring mod or get a relay kit from Motogiro so that your single H4 headlight will have proper high/low beam functionality.
Search function does wonders :spank:
Re: VS1 install time? (updated, now with a couple questions!)
I actually just maintained the OEM front signals (had smoked LED blinkers in the rear) when I installed the kit so I could keep the nice clean stock plugs. In other words, I was lazy..haha!
You are right, though, the signals...
I rode my FZ naked to and from work almost this entire year 70 miles round trip a day. My usually highway speeds are between 80-90mph. Up to 80 it really is fine, but as others have said, above 85 and you start to feel it. Thats not to say you cant cruise at 90 and be ok, you will just have...
Re: VS1 install time? (updated, now with a couple questions!)
Looking at your pics again, and this is all off of memory, I do actually think your grommets are not as thick as the ones supplied with my kit which is causing the gap. I would ask Vishnu to verify there hasnt been a parts change...
I highly recommend you either install Motogiro's relay or do the BD43 wiring mod. Without this mod, you will not have proper high/low beam functionality and will not be able to switch to a higher wattage H4 bulb without being constantly faced with bulbs burning out. This means you will be...
Re: VS1 install time? (updated, now with a couple questions!)
Weird, I didnt run i nto that issue. From the pic I can see that the lower hex bolt is snugged up correctly so not sure why the top one would be any different. It almost looks like the piece of frame that the bolt screws into is...
