I found it, but there's no way in hell to get a tool in there, let alone two wrenches. The adjuster's under the airbox, between it and the frame, by that annoying-to-reach clip that holds the clutch cable.

How do you remove the mirror glass from the mirror body? I got some water behind my left mirror, and it's all spotted. I need to pop it out to clean it.
I've got the clutch cable tightened as far as it'll go at the lever, and there's still too much play.
Where's the other adjuster/ how do I take up additional slack beyond the dial just past the lever? I can't seem to find it.
So, for everyone who's done a HID conversion...where did you mount the ballast? I've had this project on hold (everything's fabbed and ready to install, I just haven't gotten around to it) because I can't figure out a good location and method of mounting the ballast.

As for gas stations, there's really not much call for kerosene heaters in silicon valley, so if there are stations that carry kerosene, they're certainly not common. :(
So, I typically use WD-40 to clean, but I wanted to switch to kerosene.
..except I can't find any! The closest I can find is Coleman Camp Fuel, which is /not/ kerosene.
Where (in the USA) would one go to buy kerosene? (please don't say "camping stores", as the only one near me is an REI).
Check your radiator fan. Try to spin it with the bike off. If it doesn't spin freely, you may have a rock stuck in there, preventing the fan from turning.
Which would mean the burning smell was the fan motor burning up.
I had that smell on mine. Now I have a nonfunctioning radiator fan.
Sadly, I discovered what the burning smell was on my new FZ6. Maybe it's what's causing yours, too.
Go out and check your radiator fan. See if it spins freely by hand with the bike off. If not, you've got a rock stuck in there.
Chances are, the burning smell was the fan's motor eating...
Unless the kit you got came with a ballast and such, that's not a HID kit. They're just blue-coated light bulbs.

This project is taking a while, but mostly because I'm taking my time, and not rushing anything, and working on it a little bit after work each evening.
Anyway, last night I finished mounting the projectors, and resealed the headlights.

4 fans. Each fan has a 120mm CCFL and a 60mm CCFL on it.
They're held on by plastic molded pieces which are, in turn, screwed onto the fan case.
So, for 4 60mm CCFLs (one for each R6 projector lens), you need 4 fans.
They're circular.
I'm planning to attach them to the projectors using clear silicone sealant.
I'll probably either not use a switch, or get a weatherproof DPDT switch to use instead of the simple slider switch they come with.

I got restless Sunday and started working on the headlight conversion again. I discovered the steel stock I had wasn't thick enough, so I went and bought some new 1/8" x 3/4" steel bar stock, and have finished fabricating the brackets...
