You will have to raise the forks in the tripples approx 1.5". And a spring upgrade may be in order to ward off brake dive. I have the racetech 1.1kg springs and at 225lbs my front end doesnt drop! other than that no other mods are needed.

My 09 fz has clip ons. The front is lowered and has full front and rear suspension. Its also been put on a major diet! It feels COMPLETELY different than stock. Still nimble, still comfy. Soaks up bumps much better and is just planted through corners. No front end dive and no rocking horse...

I live in the Philadelphia area where most cars drive at 80mph+ on the highways. I have a rule. I can react, accerate and slow quicker at 120mph than pretty much any car on the road doing 80-90. Not saying I do this all the time. But I do tend to stay about 10mph faster thanst cars. have still...

AND! 2 months later, and my R1 shock is amazing. Didnt have to mount it backwards, or upside down(like the Verses guys). Didnt have to hack it up and eiminate preload. Cost me a total of $54 and my time for a vast improvement over the stocker. Guess Im just lucky. Or Im completely full of...
