Did the exact same thing second day I had the bike at gas station. It was so embarassing. Totally racked myself and put some minor scrapes on bike. I learned after that to make sure of the stand.

Noisy valvetrain/cam chain.

I just bought the SW- Motech 1" back and 1" higher kit for my FZ6. Started to install yesterday. How are you guys dealing with the break line?. Mine would not instal without really compromising the break line. I had everything loose. It just doesnt seem long enough?

I just double checked on Wikipedia and black is the fastest FZ6.

I bought same bike amonth ago. Its my first bike. Got it for 4600 with 200 miles. I now have 2k on it. I havent driven my car once since i got my fz6!

I seriously question how bothersome the high beam is to other drivers. I have been riding with my high beam every night 99% of the time. Never once have I had someone flash there brights at me. If I was in my car I would get flashed non-stop. The low beams are worthless on the FZ6.

Did the cam swap do anything to the midrange or low end? Better or worse?

I am fairly new to riding. Got my fz6 month ago. I would like to ride with my brights on all the time at night. Does it annoy other drivers like a regular vehicle with brights? Is it illegal. Does anyone else always ride with brights? Clay

Go cruise throttle assist is a great way to get manual cruise control. It saved me on my trip to chicago this weekend. Its cheap andsimple to use. No more numb cramped hands. I think i bought it at "the cycle guys" for 19.95.

I feel pretty confident its the cam chain. Everything is pointing to that. Definetely not injectors. Im not an expert on the fz6 but have worked on a lot of different motors. Are the manual tensioners easy to install?
