I have Progressive as my insurance and they provide roadside assistance. I have not needed it yet but from what they told me it seems pretty resonable to have it in my bag-o-tools.

I have an 08 that I purchased new in Aug of 08. It currently has 16k miles on it and the gas gauge works with no problems. I average between 45-50 mpg. Depending on the way I ride, when the fuel meter comes on I know I can go all the way up to 225 miles give or take on the normal trip...
