    Worst Thanksgiving ever.

Glad to hear you're okay, sorry about your bike. Take care and start looking for a new ride. Most important thing is you're ok.

Bike and I are OK, but my pride isn't.

So very glad that you're ok. I know that feeling of "is my bike okay" it happened to me in June. I was so pissed, more concerned about my bike than me. I knew I was okay, just some scratches and cuts. I'm a quick healer. But my bike, it turned out okay. Once again glad you're ok.

    Just my luck

Very true. They will be all broken in and dying to grip the pavement in the Spring.

    Just my luck

Well, all week long me and my coworkers have planned a nice road trip for this Monday. Everyone got kitchen passes and we are all set to go. After riding home Friday (with a whole day at work talking about how much we are all looking forward to what may be the last ride of the season) and...

    Squid etiquette

I wave at all, scooters, HDs, cruisers, you name it. Some do not wave back but that's ok (mostly from cruiser/HD types), I've done my part, passed on the respect and if they don't acknowledge, oh well. It really bothers me when I miss someone because my attention was directed at a possible...

    Reserve Gas Limit

Oh, and of course at roughly the same time, my battery was kinda low from not plugging in my battery tender for awhile. So even after I got the gas I had to duck run and bump start her in second. What a fun day.:BLAA: At least, I have a pretty good estimate of my distance and type of riding...

    Reserve Gas Limit

Well, today I found out just how far I can go when the fuel gauge starts to blink and the f trip meter comes on. With pretty fast starts and running between 65 and 75 mph I ended up running out of gas when the f trip hit 49.6miles. I was fairly close to the gas station but I did have to do...

    MD, DC, VA (northern) Riders...

Joplin. I'll have to check that out one day soon. I'm always doing stuff with my son (AAU basketball) lately. I've been really busy. If I'm lucky, I might get a chance before the weather turns. I'm in Woodbridge (near Lakeridge area).

    Lets Be Extra Vigilant

Hello All, It's been disheartening seeing so many fellow riders going down. I too, low sided (not serious, minor road rash on me and my bike) about two months ago. Since, it's been one post after another about someone mixed up in an accident. I know sometimes events occur out of the...

    Battery died, how to charge?

Battery Tender Jr. Does wonders, no worry of an overcharge, light lets you know the condition of the charge, and it has cables that stay connected to the battery that you can plug in other accessories (provided you have SAE plug). You can't go wrong with it.

I had to rely on my gear tonight

So glad that you're pretty much 100%. Same thing happend to me after a slight rain. Hit the corner and went sliding. Take care and keep that injury clean. Glad to see the bike didn't take much damage either.

    FZ6 Headlights

First of all, get a battery tender. It will save you lots of trouble and money. Second, our bikes are not heaping with alot of excess power as far as the electrical system is concerned. The stator only charges when the RPMs are around 5,000. So if you're doing a lot of riding below that and...

    Good news and bad news

Hopefully, you won't be without a ride for too long. Looking forward to seeing what you will decide on. Sorry to hear that you had to part with your FZ6. Take care and post pics of your new ride when you get it. Enjoy all those months of riding.
