What do your RPM's look like, if you can characterize them for me? Also, do you let the engine fan run after you shut down the bike? I was doing that for a while too, which I've now stopped.
I have ran a couple batteries dead in the last few months. As of this last incident, I did it with a perfectly healthy battery and a perfectly healthy charging system (both have been checked twice now). Apparently, my riding (or should I say, sitting in traffic :Flip:) habits are to blame. So...
Speaking for myself here, this is my first time using a clutch for anything so I have also spent some time exploring the boundaries of the clutch to get the feel for what will cause it to stall.
I must have jinxed myself. My battery died last night. No idea what is going on... The charging system was verified and a new battery was put in a couple months ago.
I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I ride with my brights on, I "cruise" below 4k RPM's a lot, and when I'm done...

Yes. A new battery fixed my problem. Your bike is under warranty so fortunately you won't have to pay for the fix. Possibly you can be compensated for your inconvenience.

I'm still a noob. This is my first bike and I have about 750 miles under my belt. I even stalled today taking off from a stop light. :( The longest ride I've gone on so far is about 40-50 miles. :surrender:
