Hi all. I had to pull off my bikini flare on my 2008 FZ6S and the black bits around the lights wont clip back into place properly. Any ideas on how i can fix this cause it looks messy and I am outta ideas on how to keeo them in place. Also anywhere I can buy new ones besides genuine? Thanks Joe

Thanks rino60. Ill have a look there aswell. I have heard 1 of the dyno shops in cairns is gd but as I have said he has never done a FZ6. Well if I get a pc3 he should be ok with the tune as its the same software as all bikes with a pc3. Ill go make some calls today again, I got some injury...

Im in Innisfail. I am willing to trailer bike to Townsville if need be. I just wanna talk to tuner and make sure he has a gd reputation because I have been burnt wen got my car dyno tuned by someone who said they could do more than they can. Cost me $1500 to fix his mistake and I dont wanna have...

Does anyone know of a gd, reliable shop that can tune my bike in far nth Qld? I have done some callin but noone has done a FZ6.

would it be worth removinh the cats in the header pipe and leaving the 1 main 1 there?

I put the cat back on and bike ran perfect again. have been thinking bout a pwr commander so i might just wait till i get that before i take cat back out. Thanks for the info and advice guys :thumbup:

Hi all. I have a 2008 fz6s. Last nite I took my cat convertor out and put a straight threw piece of pipe. I started the bike and it sounded rattley. Can this cause damage to my bike without the back pressure there? It also fluctuated the revs too.

I service myself Have always used Shell Advance Ultra 4T Full Synthetic 10w-40 and $80 for 4 ltrs, I use it in both my FZ6 and WR450F, I change oil and filter every 5000km on Fz6 and every 500km on WR450F, FZ does a bit of cruising, some long ride and am under it a fair bit and WR get...

Here is my 08 FZ6S. I have Micron slip-ons, Piper Cross air filter and regeared. Also have some ghost flames on side panels below seat and have a pc3 in the next couple months planned.
