VR - chap at work bought his gear from Rev'it dealer at Harpers - Leigh-On-Sea.
Rev'it Motorcycle Clothing Store
I don't think they have an online shop tho. May be well worth dropping them quick call/email..

Hi VR - A guy at work bought some Rev'It gear last year... i'll ask him where he got his kit from and pass it for to ya - they may have what your looking for. I remember him saying the place he went to had Superb Customer Service - thats always a bonus in my books!

No worries - I believe its Yamaha's own brand from their website.
Yamaha Motor UK - Genuine Accessories Catalogue - Motorcycles, Scooters, ATV, Marine and Lifestyle
FAZR6 FE kit - I removed it a few weeks ago due to reverting back to stock... Boxed with paperwork from the states. If anyone from the UK is interested, drop us a PM..
I got a few pics in my gallery if anyone wants a quick look at it fitted..
Thanks,
vj...
Fox - Dan at BootLeg is awesome... i'm in the middle of getting one designed for my GSX.
Very nice guy, and he likes a challange if you know what i mean...
Sorry, can't help with a spare saddle :BLAA:

Silver - I think any after market front sprocket that does not have a damper fitted will make a slight noise..
I'm at ease that i now know i'm not causing any harm to the motor by an over tight chain...
Also very happy with AFAM, i have full AFAM sets on two bikes now.. but any good...
Yup - I got a quote for 76 quid + VAT for an original OEM front sprocket and nearly fainted so decided to go for an Heavy Duty X-ring AFAM chain and sprocks [full set].
The o-ring chains are fine IMO, i did 31k [miles] on mine:BLAA: and it was the stock DID chain too.. i paid a few quid less...
Morning all - Well i adjusted my chain slack to around 47-50mm last night... and i still get the slight whine when slowing down - To be clear - only when slowing down tho :) Accelerating and riding slow is fine..
Would anyone know what could be causing this..? I think i read somewhere that...
Thanks Fox / Nelly - I shall check my chain slack tonight... think i adjusted it to 42mm as opposed to the usual between 45-55mm slack...
thanks chaps, nice one...
Nelly - my original stock chain on my 06 was a DID... and it was factory riveted..? When i called Yamaha for prices on Stock kit, they said thats not an original chain - weird..
I just replaced mine. Original DID chain and sprockets lasted an amazing 31k miles :) :)
I went for a AFAM heavy duty x-ring chain with steal sprockets. Working fine at the mo - apart for the slight whine from the front sprocket... :rolleyes...
Check out Hein Gerricke if ya in the UK, they have a January sale on at the mo so you may be able to pick up a few good bits.
RE Leathers vs. Textile, i would go texttile for everyday riding... Leathers for fair weather riding [unless you go expensive].
I ride all day/everyday and find...
