I'm having the same problem. A friend of mine suggested some fuel injector cleaner, but I haven't had a chance to give that a try yet. I think he also said something about carborators maybe being out of sync, but that was more of -a general bike statement and he doesn't know any of the internal...

My idle isn't very smooth.. a friend of mine suggested the fuel injector might be to blame. I'm going to give this a try!

I've only been riding a month now (i know!), but I'm considering giving my GF a ride from her work back home to her house.. it's only a couple of miles and 1-2 turns at traffic lights across some totally straight, well maintained suburban roads. It seems safe, and she is really tiny so...

not absolutely perfect since the helmet shifts them around a little bit. I haven't had much of a problem when putting them helmet on; they seem to fall out sometimes when taking the helmet off.

For me it was a choice between the FZ6 and the GSX650F Loved the FZ6 after test riding it and the price was righ so I never got a chance to ride the GSX. This GSR750 looks sweet. Right now my current plan is to test ride an FZ1 and a CBR1000 when I'm ready to move up to a faster bike

I am in the same position as you. The only water overpants I've come across with seemingly great protection are the air-mesh kevlar, but they look kind of ugly and are REAALLY expensive.

One of those links points to data for a 2004 FZ6. It's probably a difference in year.

I try to be cautious, but I have accidently pulled the throttle too hard in my early days on the FZ6. It may have been when trying to reach for the front brake, or going through a far right side turn. Not sure but I do know that accidents can happen when you're developing your initial...

For me that is also part of riding. That being said, for me pushing the engine is another aspect on occasion. tends to put a grin on my face :)
