Cool thanks for the invite I'm generally a 9-5er with boring M-F hours. Like I said I'm down for Saturday/Sun morning rides, my woman often rides passenger so I'm not a speed demon more casual rider.
Our bikes make alot of weird noises I've come to learn. When I first bought my bike it had a really loud howl which went away after getting new tires. I still have a variety of whines, ticks, and whirrs which I suppose I grow accustomed to. Oh and a big CACHUNK when shifting into first.
Hey whats up guys. I'm fairly new to San Diego, moved from Seattle a few months ago. I'm interested in meeting up with FZ6 riders and covering some ground in this beautiful area.
I've created a Facebook group which makes it easier to set up rides and keep in contact than it is on the...
where are those damn carburetors... :)
The FZ6 is fuel injected, meaning there are no carbs. :Flash:
What is up? Did you get a bike with old fuel in it or something?
I have been generally pretty happy with purchases here. The shipping is quick and they are fairly transparent with what is happening with my purchase. Could improve their inventory system, have ordered what claims to be "in stock" to find out that it isn't. Has never taken an absurd amount of...
If you treat your bike as an ornamental garage piece, then some would say 10K is alot. I bought my bike at 17K and plan to ride the hell out of !! :Flash: This technology should last for plenty of years. I also figure that if anything major in terms of recalls created a problem, it has...
This setup feels incredible in terms of pressure points on ANY areas. I would say there is considerably less weight on the wrists.

My dad really liked the FZ6, he's a vintage goldwing guy who is moving up to something more along the lines of a Honda ST1100 or the like. It was in his hands over a weekend, he rode a tank or two, and his only recommendation was "I'd get some risers". Well, I can't wait to find out what he...
Figured this would be a good place to post this since it's also a good cheap ebay lever...
Just got mine in the mail from ebay store, this is the ad/seller
I couldn't be happier, they are exactly what I wanted and needed. The price was great, $50 for the set, compared to their $200...
Cool I ordered some ebay levers and am *patiently* awaiting their arrival. The $50 price point is decent for the set (compared to the other options). They all look the same, probably all getting from the same distributor.
Thanks for the responses. I am deterred from buying Hel based on the customer service from the group buy, otherwise I'd consider it. Those bremzen lines are looking pretty good to me, the whole kit for 130 seems pretty reasonable.
Seems absurd to pay $100 for front, $80 for back for brake lines. Plus I can't really afford that - along with the laundry list of other things I want to do/buy (you know what I'm talkin about).
Did I mention I love any thread that begins with the word cheap? I appreciate quality but I believe...
