    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

Ok. So the diodes worked on the shared brake leads so the rear signal stalk brake lights aren't confusing the brake light. Then the flash rate was inconsistent even with the resistors built in the brake light and supplied with the front signal stalks. Scratched my head and realized the flash...

    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

Took video with iPhone in .mov file format and won't load. No solution? Technologically challenged.

    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

Turn signals are 14x LED Turn Signals x 2. Got the diodes tonight and put them in. WORKS! Thank you! I'll try to put up a video.

    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

Yes, the set up is a MD taillight and led turn signal stalks in place of original, with the stalks acting as running lights (working fine), turn indicators (working fine), and brake lights. All three lights are sharing leads for activation, and only the brake light lead is acting up. When I...

    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

I should also mention that when I disconnect the break light leads to the signals the brake light of the taillight works normally. I know there are electronics gurus out there. Help me kill the electrical gremlin! Thank you!

Older riders with the FZ6(first post)

54 very soon. Bought the 2004 FZ6 five years ago for the kids to practice on in pursuit of their licenses, and for an alternative to my 2001 Kawasaki Voyager (still have and ride it). Two of the kids are married and live states away, and the youngest son, a fellow motorcycle mental case, is in...

    Motodynamic integrated taillight problems.

I have the Motodynamic taillight and led turn signals that are also running lights and brake lights. Wired up and worked initially, but now the taillight stays on and the signals operate normally. They are sharing the brake light power lead. Is this the problem? Is the taillight confused by an...

Lifting weights and manhandling your bike

My wife and I started P90X at 50 years old and it is a great all around program you can do at home. I'm no monster, but am in decent shape. Modify the workouts to your abilities, stick with it and watch your fitness and endurance grow. I have two bad knees, a horrible neck, a bad disc in my back...

You know how people often ask if FZ6 is a good first bike?

It's the classic argument about whether the problem is man or machine. What killed Abel; Cain or the stick? What is capable of anger or evil; the man or the gun? What is capable of acting like a hoon; a motorcycle or a dumb@$$? If the stuff between the ears isn't adequate, it can screw up...

(not so)Breaking news: Amendment 64 passed

As a motorcyclist I am against anything that impairs the driving abilities of any motorist, for my sake as well as everyone else. The contention that weed doesn't impair as much as alcohol is self serving BS. You're all against drunk drivers and distracted drivers, but some are for yet another...

How about ridiculous tickets stories thread?

I have been driving for 36 years without a ticket or accident; not that I haven't been pulled over and deserved a ticket or two. I'm not good looking or charming, so it must be pity or revulsion that induces the LEOs to let me go. That said, wife and I were in Austin, TX last month on...

Breaking news: Obama won the presidency

We are on the very precipice of being led by politicians controlling our country by pandering to the dependent class at the expense of those dwindling few who cling to the dream of every man; self determination and self reliance in a free society and economy. Never has there been a system of...

Isle of Man TT: A Dangerous Addiction [48 mins]

Good God! Attending the event is on my bucket list. It's lunacy, but I just have to see it happen in person as the ultimate in racing.

Front Turn signal Fairing Plugs with POD Light Kit

I could use a pair of plugs that could be drilled to accept a simple threaded mounting bolt for after market turn signals. Can you provide such a thing?
