I've had this happen to me a couple of times. I think that it is just that I am not shifting all the way through the gear. I usually don't worry about it, just make sure you shift firmly.

Yeah, make sure you grab that key out of the lock. I forget so many times to grab the key and I know that one day if I forget the key in the lock, my bike might disappear on me. That has already happened once, and I don't want it to happen again.

Re: Milage Contest! Alright I still got in. I'll be racking up a lot of miles this summer. I plan on riding from Phoenix to Washington State and back, plus some inbetween. My camera is not that great, so I posted up a couple of pics.

Looks great, I have a silver '04 and I love it. It also looks like you want it to get home safely based on how many tie down straps you are using.:)
