It's a nice bike and if it was available when I bought I might have opted for the lower spec just cos I need it more in the city then the hwy. I think Yami did ok in europe where its called a "diversion", nothing wrong with that. I think The BIG mistake that yamaha made was adding this bike...

    Elderly drivers scare me...!!

How about the flip side? My dad is 80+, still driving. I am the first to admit his driving skills are not what they used to be. BUT he and my mom live out in the middle of nowhere. There is no public transit and no taxis, the nearest store is 20 Km away. So without driving they would not be...

Do you let anyone borrow your vehicle?

Yep. I normally would not accept another's M/C. Especially if I am not familiar with the bike. I'd feel bad if something went wrong. Not really worth the risk. I just admire their ride and slap 'em on the back... "You luck fellow you!"

    Physics of Speed Bumps

Today I had an interesting experience. Checking my mirrors for taxi's on my tail, I hit a speed bump (not painted of course, black on black high contrast type!). I was in first gear going slowly maybe about 20km/hr. This is what seemed to happen. Front wheel bumped up on the bump...
