    Nice FZ6 in Nyack.

Hi all, I've been in N.Y. state for a few days visiting the grandkids:spank:. Whilst wandering round the village noticed a nice red FZ6 in someones back garden near the Hudson river:thumbup:, today it was covered with a black FZ6 cover. Does it belong to anyone on the forum? Cheers, Al Theman...

    Goodbye My FZ6!

Hi guys (and gals) I changed my mind and am now not getting the "Shiver 750", I am moving over to the dark side and tomorrow (Sat) I pick up a new 2009 model Aprilia Tuono 1000 R, :D whooee! Goodbye My FZ6!

Sad to report but I said goodbye to my 2009 FZ6 tonight, :( she is in good hands though and will get plenty of miles with the new owner, who rode away with a big smile on his face. I'm now looking forward to riding the new "Aprilia Shiver 750" that I'm buying, a different animal altogether and...

What would you "upgrade" your FZ6 to?

2010 to 2012 Triumph Street Triple R. I just wish they were not so pricey new and that there were a few decent used ones around in Seattle.

What is the best Windscreen for the FZ6?

I use the stock for summer and a tall Cal Sci for winter that works very well when temps below 40F.:D

Has your bike ever hit the ground?

No for my FZ6, but I managed a (0mph) slow lay-down on my R6S on the right hand side at the end of my street the second day I owned it:confused:. Managed to trap my glove gauntlet between the handlebar clip-on grip and the tank whilst turning on the steep hill, Doooh! Fortunately no neighbours...

    Am I the Oldest?

Unfortunately I might be the oldest at 71, I am certainly a certified old fart! Started riding in 'LimeyLand' 54 years ago on a BSA 350cc. Then after a hiatus of about 50 years re-started riding again three years ago. I attended the Seattle MSF course which I thought was great, then got a...

A shrinking 5' 9" but I can flat foot fine. Not so sure about stopping on the side of a steep hill though.

peoples thoughts on the fz8 after seeing one in a show room??

FZ8 Fuel Tank is smaller than the FZ6, does not make sense to me with the reduced mpg. That's enough to put me off "upgrading".
