Bill is correct, depends on the State. But the individual state doesn't have a standard on what constitues a "helmet".

I see so many people wearing these, in fact Harely dealership will give them with the purchase of a bike. Darwin in action. Keep the gene-pool clean I suppose My bicycle helmets are better.

I was a gymnast...those suck..thankfully no one had cameras (Or youtube)when I was in it...although the screams of all the girls as you came crashing down in a heap were always fun That was all the spotters fault. He should have never even hit the bar if they were doing thier jobs right.
