Left turn stop light sensor???

Great responses everyone... thanks! I didn't want to mention it in my OP but at that time, I waited... waited... and temperature gauge was 200+. I made sure the coast was clear and ran the red.:spank:

There are times when I have already stopped and realized it was one of those lights and missed the sensor.:banghead: Guess I have to pay more attention when approaching a stop light.

I've also found that if the magnetic strip is visibile, just put your kickstand on it. Will trip it that way too. Most of the time I just go through them...not alot of traffic at 4am around my way. Only been pulled over 3 times...and all of them thought my thinking was sound...lol go figure!

I tried this today and didn't work.
After standing there for two cycles with moderate cross-traffic (3 mins to jump red signal in NC), I tried my side stand on the joint of the metal wire on the road, it still didn't pick it up.
I'm worried, the magnet will attract all the crap I don't need.
