Here's a test and review of the GPS SatNav's TripyII, tomtom rider & Garmin 590LM, it's written by a Dutch guy but it's in English, It seems to be a work in progress but it's definately interesting (anyway I thought so).

Love to see this but the links give me a 404 error, I go to his page but can't read Dutch so not sure how to find the test info.

The guys on the FJR forum are breaking down and buying the 590's. They really seem to like them, short of the price.

If you order direct from Garmin and piss about it, its said they'll knock off 10%. :thumbup:
