A complete run through the bike before riding season

I'll stupervise from Florida! Blah

Well in that case - be sure to suggest "chucking the Tq wrench" when tightening the oil drain plug!

When its stops turning, "good and snug" will do as its just a stopper. As long as it doesn't fall out, its doing its job! :thumbup:

And with such a large pit crew and capable hands, dump the fork oil and have Joe setup the front end! Grab those fender washers!:D

I'm in Alexandria, Fizzer6 is a little further south off of route 95. You'll go past him if you are en route to VA Beach - I'm from Newport News originally. Nice area!

When you VA fellas are all finished with your spring maintenance, if you're ever headed anywhere in the area of the Blue Ridge Parkway, hit me up. I'm in Charlottesville. :thumbup:

And while we're on the subject of maintenance, I accidentally ordered a K&N filter for an S2 (KN-204..."son of a b___!") on amazon a couple of weeks ago. Not sure how I did that, but I noticed it yesterday when I was about to change the oil...the correct one (KN-303) should be here tomorrow. Anyway, if anyone here needs one, I'd part ways with it for the cost of shipping. Shouldn't be much if it's in the NJ/VA area.

Just turn the setting on the wrench down a whole bunch from 30ft lbs. (Just as a side note (mentioned before), my Yamaha F150 outboard engine, exact same bolt/threads, aluminum block, spec's the drain plug at 20 ft lbs). Might want to put that as a sticky if not already..:)

Instead of a "Blanket party", sounds like a "bike party", BYOW, bring your own wrenches!

I'm in Charlottesville often since I'm only 45 min north in Culpeper County. My wife and I enjoy spending a spring/summer afternoon in Nelson County for Devils Backbone and Blue Mountain breweries! We don't take the bikes if we are partaking of fine VA brews though! :thumbup: Now the Parkway I would love to hit again. I usually get a Shenandoah annual park pass so I ride up Skyline Drive more often since it's closer and I go up to it Via Rt. 33. :rockon:

My family has a place (grandmother's house) just northwest of you in Browntown/Front Royal just below the skyline drive - I may wind up there on my bike this summer and I'll be sure to let you know. It's a great place and I'd love to ride those roads in the Shenandoahs!

^^ Free labor bro - wash and wax this bike when yer done w/that one! :thumbup::thumbup:

Good to see you all working together! :thumbup:
Go easy on the :iconbeer::iconbeer:

LOL!!
The last time I tried having Nate help the sponge made it 2 spokes around the back wheel, he puts his hands on his hips and says "yep, looks good!" Then walks away.....

*Brief thread derailment*
I passed through Somer's Point twice yesterday and ate at the good ol' Crab Trap on my way to Ocean City. It was on 4 wheels though...would have been 2 if my girlfriend wasn't such a "feline" about the cool wind for so long.

Let me know, I also run up to Sperryville to Skyline on Hwy 211 (20 miles south of Front Royal on Skyline Drive). I'd love to see that sweet FZ you have. :thumbup:
