Meet Archer!

Today I pulled this pretty boy from death row at the city shelter. 2 years old, somewhat trained, very sweet and at around 40 to 50 pounds, looks about 10 pounds underweight. Technically I'm just fostering, but I think I'll adopt him outright pretty soon!

If he is pit and boxer you will have one really great dog, my son had that combo and he was the nicest, smartest and just plain great dog ever. And good for you for going the extra mile and saving him:thumbup::thumbup:

Poor Archer is at the vet tonight - he'll be having surgery tomorrow to clean up the infection he got from a poorly done neutering while he was at the pound. He should be back home in a day or two and much healthier!

What made you pick him? My Mutt is a rescue dog, he is nervous but fiercely loyal & protective.
One day our youngest got out of the front gate, I heard George (the dog) barking and making a really strange noise. I went to see what the noise was. George was running around Chloe stopping her from going further.

He's a sweetie! The rescue I'm working through thought he would be a good match for us, and when I met him it was confirmed! He's good with other dogs, likes giving kisses and was pretty obedient! Most of all, he was pretty urgent.
