Dropped the bike today, I was on my way home from hanging with friends and I took a curve in my neighborhood too fast, hit some leaves, and down I went, bike skidded 10-20 some feet and I at least 10. Stupid mistake by coming into the corner too fast and stupider mistake by not putting on a little rear brake and leaning more. Was wearing full gear but I got a little scrape on my wrist where my jacket/glove wasn't fully covering. Oh well, live and learn I guess. so heres the pics
mirror, oh well
son of a *****
seriously, WTF. that's gonna be a pain in the arse to pull off, but it did protect the engine and frame from any scratches so I'm happy about that
ehh, oh well
again, oh well
so much for these gloves, oh well, they were free
only a small scrape, I would not want this all over my body
great pants, have some hip padding, makes it not hurt as much
so yeah, the kicker, that's my front yard that the bike is basically in. I expected my mother to come out running and screaming lol, but luckily she wasn't home. My neighbors drove up right after it happened and helped me push the bike into my driveway. bike starts and runs fine, but I still have a 2 hour ride back to manhattan tomorrow. Time to look for some parts I guess
