Not much info out there on saddlebags. And I really dont know anything about luggage. I was looking into some saddle bags for trips and want to make sure they wont get in the way of the passenger/my girlfriend. If its even possible on our bikes. And im looking at bags that are roughly 19 liters per side. Is that a good size?

I have a set of large Eclipse soft bags and they do not get in the way of my wife's seating position on the bike.

I use Coretech nylon bags, they fit pretty good. I'll need to slide them back to give your passanger foot room. Once you do that you need to drape them over the rear turn signals. Not a problem. They work well and stay in place.

Get a big topcase instead...more expensive but your passenger will thank you and they are just generally nicer to have for several reasons.

thanks for the info. i re read my post and it was supposed to say the bags are 19 liters each. i dont really know how much that can hold.

19 liters each is good size. Are they expandable beyond that? Those looks like Nelson Rigg..

Holy CRAP! What on earth do you have your shock cranked to??? 11???

Yea, something like that.
I had it all the way up, 7 I believe. Bike rode great with the load on her.
And that is the Nelson Rigg bags, not sure on what they are called, but those are the mini-Saddle bags. It was a combo if I am not mistaken.

The very top bag is the AXO tail bag in CF. Worked great for holding my camera, Jordans stuffed animal, wallet, keys, sunglasses, hat... that kinda stuff.
