Saturday was not getting any better in the weather forecast so I pulled the trigger, called the dealer yesterday and asked them to put my new 2008 together for this morning.
I drove my wife's bike with her on the back out to the dealer this morning. Beautiful day for a ride in NH today! We arrived at the dealer at 10:30am and pulled out at 11:00am on my new '08 Cobalt Blue FZ6. Unfortuantely, I had to come in to work for 1:30pm but I was able to get about 75 miles on her before pulling into the parking lot. :rockon:
Being one of the first members to own an FZ6 from the '04-'06 model years and now a '07-'08 model, I have to write a review on what my perception is and how these two bikes compare. I'll tell you up front, the '08 is a different bike from the '05 with plenty of changes!
I'll post pics after I take some over the next few days. Since the weather is bad this Sat. I'll be installing mods with the radio blasting in the garage!
