Congrats!!!
I heard this thing can be ridden pretty hard..
Tell us how the engine compares to the fz if you get a second..
I've only ridden a Fazer once, but the powerband is alot different... The Versys is alot of low to mid range torque and you don't get as much "holy crap" factor in the upper end of the rpm scale like you do on the FZ... Low-end torque is addicting though  That being said the Kawasaki does make a great noise once you get past about 7k... as does the FZ

Still getting used to having 6 gears, i've only ever had one bike with 6 gears previous.
After 2 days of riding i've decided on a few mods i'm gonna have to get:
1. Fender Extender- i've noticed the front wheel with the stock fender throws mud onto the radiator, not a lot but enough to notice... and where mud can be thrown so can stones..
2. A tank bra or one of those gel tank protector things- Matte black tends to show scratches and magnify them, and my old leather jacket has two copper buttons at the bottom on the exterior of the jacket... have to keep wrapping those up in my t-shirt i'm wearing underneath to prevent scratches.
3. Saddle bags/top case- Turns out i may never go back to 4 wheels again

so i'm gonna need storage... brand new givi's with the brackets look like they go for 1k for bags and another 500 for the top case, so i may have to find a used deal or wait for a sale...
4. 12v Outlet-Haven't looked into how this works yet, but the electrical system where all the connections happen are convieniently under the seat so it doesn't look like i'll have to do any tank lifting (may be wrong on that one). But it would be nice to have a gps although i've no idea where to mount it on this thing, Will have to delve into the Versys forum for that and i hate navigating the thing...not to mention i activated an account on there 4 months ago and cant post :Flip:
