I was pretty sure this wouldn't happen for a while, but..

The deal was really good and I've always known this would be the bike I'd be willing to part with my FZ6 for. Good pictures to follow soon, but here's a crappy one for now:

I will almost certainly stick around on this forum, though I'll probably be spending a lot more time on FZ1 board now
While this thing sorta feels like my FZ6, this thing is a completely different animal!

Nice, Erci!!! The FZ1 is one of the few bikes I, too, would switch to also. Of course, I'd want to remove the fairing and put the FZ1N headlight on it (but the fairing on the FZ1 is much more attractive than the FZ6 fairing IMHO).

Even from the small pic, that thing looks clean. Did you trade? Is it used? What year?

You're one of the great members around here, so please stop in from time to time! And congrats on the new bike!

Congratulations!!!

I just saw this bike somewhere...FZ1 Classifieds Maybe???

So what are you going to do with the 6 ;)

Craigslist :D

FZ6 is unfortunately going to have to go :(
No room in the garage. Now I have to decide if I should sell it as is or swap some parts back to stock and get a bit more money that way.

It's used.. 2008 with just 5.3k miles on it. So really it's like new. I'm going to start by chopping the screen very low (it can be cut much lower than on FZ6) for every day riding and I'll get a taller screen for longer highway rides.

NICE!! I was actually digging around for an FZ1 when my FZ6 fell into my lap. An offer I couldn't refuse, too good a deal to pass up adding it to the mix.

As you get used to it, please post up a comparison. Like to hear your thoughts

My bro has a 09, like you said it's a animal..I checked out the FZ8, I would take a FZ1 over the FZ8 any day.
He just ordered the power bronze belly pan, so I'll post a pick the next time I see it.

You got a awesome ride!

OK.. this is getting out of hand and I'm REALLY REALLY SORRY, but APRIL FOOLS :D :D :D

I would let this hang a bit longer, but I'm getting private message with dibs on my parts and congratulations.. this has to stop now.

Hope you all won't be too upset with me, but it had to be done! :D

I LOVE MY FZ6 and I have no intent of trading it in for anything else, no matter how great the other offerings are! (at least not for a long while)
