Cheep A** key fob vid cam

This is from the $1.45 type 3 key fob cam. Shipping was around 13 bucks and the micro SD cards (8mb) were 43 bucks for 2 of them, so the results from the buck 45 cam are quite good considering.
I mounted them on some alum brackets attached with a delrin standoff on the front fairing and just the bolt on the rear chain guard. The rear worked very well with little or no vibrations and with the speaker pointing towards the rear the sound was good(I'll put up a vid from the rear cam later today). The front worked well but had some harmonic vibrations depending on the rpm's, you can see the distortion in the vid, if you keep the revs below 5k it works just as well as the rear. I'm going to try some double sticky foam as a vibration dampener and see if it works.

PS: don't mind the wrong date, I use a Mac Book Pro and couldn't figure out how to change the date on the cam, think I may have to use my Windoze box to make the change work

Do you have a direct link on where or who you bought it from and post it on the forum? I know there was a similar thread but it got too confusing since everybody started posting different sites and different cameras.

nice video and pretty good idea with the mounts, on the back it would probably be better to get it mounted somewhere near saddle/footpeg so it's not in constant shake from suspension.

That's pretty good quality videos from $1.45 price..
Wonder how this company make money out of it.. ???

PS: For the front mounting, try it to add some string (or small bunge code, velcros would be good too) and extend the string up to the other side of the fairing and make high tension of it. I'm sure it will reduce alot of vibration.
Because this string will compensate camera-mounting movements.
I had similar problems and those strings helped out for the better video outputs.
