How much did you $spend on your fz6? $7200

I paid ~$6200 here in WI OTD. IF the dealer would have deep sixed the set up and other fees, I could have been OTD for about $6000. Oh mine is a Candy Red 07.
 
Just bought mine...

Just ordered mine today from Sky Powersports in Lake Wales, FL... It was the best price I'd seen on a blue '07, so I decided it was time. I found them on cycletrader.com and they had an advertised price of $5199! I thought I was getting a good deal before when I almost bought one in Panama City for $5800... anyway, they told me $6500 OTD, which then ended up at $6400...

Bike/tax/tag/title/scratching balls fee... $6400
+ 4-year warranty extension (parts & labor) $620
+ Shipping (300 miles to Tallahassee, FL) $300
+ More tax and BS $55
-----------------------------------------------------------
Total price OTD = $7375

And I have to wait till wednesday for it to arrive, aghh!! I'm already looking at mods... :thumbup:
 
Just purchased a 2005 with 2,000 miles. I might have paid to much but I was talking to three different dealers and went with the best deal. OTD was 5200. I looked at one with 1000 miles and it was 5300 and an extra two hours a ways. Also looked at one with 8000 miles and he would only do 4500. The other two where silver so I got less miles for a little more money and the color I wanted, blue. I think I spent a little to much but I got what I wanted and stayed in my budget and was only a little bit outside of my girlfriends budget or me.

I paid £3900 for a new FZ6 S2 naked model
this included 6 months road tax

So i guess thats about $7800.

The faired model (fazer over here) is more expensive.

So from the way I see it, you are paying less for the faired model over there than I paid for the naked model over here! double bad.

I should definatley move to AMERICA!
 
I bought a used 04 in January 08 with 8000 miles for $3000. It came with scorpion exhaust a cover, and an FE. Not a single scratch on it. I think I got a pretty good deal.
 
OK hold onto your hats...I live in Denmark and we have a 180% import duty to pay on any vehicle coming into the country.

I paid 91000 Danish Kroner for my 2006 FZ6.

In US dollars it works out to be 17,697.3927

Can anyone beat that??
 
SteveinDenmark: Get out! Next thing you know California is going to require a sunshine tax. No, I can't beat the price you paid for your FZ6

I got my 2005 FZ6 galaxy blue with 11,000 miles for $4500 USD + taxes. The bike came with hard bags and free helmet!!!!:rockon:

I just posted this in the new members section, but I'll do it again. I bought an '08 for $6500. I traded in an '07 250 ninja (2987 mls) and got $2000 for it. All said and done OTD was around $7005. I don't know if it's good or bad, but I'm happy. $7005 - $2000. I paid around $5000 out of pocket

I paid $4000.00 for my 2005 FZ6. I got it from a family member, so I know that It's been taken real good care of. It had 5400 miles on it when I bought it.:)
 
I bought a 2005 with 1700 miles just last weekend for $3900 from an individual, in perfect condition...not a scratch on it. No taxes, no fees.
 
I am about to buy new 2006 model from dealer in Canada for 6800 + 13% tax.
it's last one, rest are 2008 models for about 8900. I hope I am not making mistake.
