Damage Report

Just had my first look at my bike since the accident on Nov.21.

Total cost for repairs is going to be around $2500.00
Most of the damage is cosmetic; scrapes on bodywork
and such.

The handlebars were slightly bent and the left side footpeg
was torn off.

All in all the bike didn't look too bad at all and seems to have
come away better than I did.

One note!!!!! I paid $25 bucks for a pair of T-Rex frame sliders,
this was the very first aftermarket money I spent on the bike and
the mechanic said without them the bike would surely have been
totaled.

If you don't have them get some.

Heck, I'm impressed that you were able to get to the bike this soon after your accident! You have seriously strong recuperative powers.

No I didn't even think about taking my camera. I am feeling better
every day, but I am still very sore at times.

It will be a few weeks before all the repairs are done but they told me it
will be just like new when they finish.

Only had 515 miles on her when it happened.

Well it looks like your bike faired much better than you did.

Hope the recovery process is going well, and you're healing quick. Keep us posted on how you're doing because your injuries were just brutal.

The spools mean the bike can live to be ridden another day.:cheer:

The soreness is a good thing.... let's you know you're still alive.

Time will help with that. One of the things I did while healing was start looking at training options, so I could reduce the chance of a repeat performance. No rush.... the bike will be there when you get healthy.
