Nice eye... I've had the can for a while, but it's indeed the headlight grille which only comes on the XB9Sx version... I think it looks cool!

I didn't guess the headlight grill because other XBs have it. Uly too I think.

well thanks. my first guess was the can because i remember either you or hellgate talking about maybe having to make your own since there won't be any aftermarket support for y'all anymore. but other than that it was the grille. i too like it. nice touch.

it's funny. i was thinking earlier that i had to come to an fz6 forum to gain an appreciation for buells. they used to be odd looking bikes. but i've actually grown to like them now. and i too wondered how good they were. now i wish i had the disposable income to pick one up. there are a few i wouldn't mind having. i think top of the list is the xb12scg like you have. it's an amazing looking bike... plus i have short legs. i also like the xb12xt. not great for the short legs but a nice sport tourer. and then there's the obvious with the 1125c and cr. maybe i'll be able to find one in a few years when i'm finished with the fz6. who knows?

regardless... great bike. and a great mod.
