...I was riding home from work today, minding my own business, cruising along in the fast lane, going with the flow of traffic, doing about 65 mph when suddenly......

.....this dude blew past me at about 75 mph, with 10 pound Givi bags on each side, lane splitting :eek:(ok, maybe not this guy, but someone that looked alot like him).

remember that game road rash for sega? that situation would have warranted similar action. just pull up beside him and kick him as hard as you can while continuing to accelerate past him.

see? we really CAN learn from video games!!

LOL. jk, I want to get a scooter one day. They are fun....in a dorky, putting about kind of way. I rode a bunch of them in india when on vacations there. They do grow on you.

Our local mopeds are pretty slow, but 65 mph is getting pretty fast for a chair on wheels. Next time you see him just tell him learn how to shift or something

I'm pretty sure it was one of the 600cc models, but I can't believe that the handling and breaking on that thing are going to save his A$$ if someone decides to lane change on him, while he's splitting lanes at that speed. I mean the traffic was pretty congested and moving at 65 mph.

Don't feel too bad, I got passed by a Burgman 650 that just blew by me once. He had to be in the triple digits when he passed me. As I was already 15 mph over, I did not feel like pursuing and getting a ticket that day. That Burg was hauling though. To this day, I have wanted one for some reason.

At least I knew I could catch him if I wanted too, most Harley's can't. Can you imagine being passed by a scooter, and not being able to catch him?
