final machine will be unveiled in fall tho.

Really like the V4's they probably have a unique dynamic in producing horse power. Different than a twin and different than an inline 4. In fact they probably sound the closest to a crossplane cranked engine. If they lighten this bike compared to the previous generation VFR's they'll certainly get more interest. It's an easy shoe-in for the touring market and if they get the weight ratios more competitive I'd jump on it.
That's the thing about the FZ-6, and yes I know it's a little cramped for longer limbed folk, but it stay's in there with bikes that are supposed to far outperform it. Sorry but this little bike has a lot to say in the twisties. My biggest problem with it are physical clearances which I'm taking on part by part. Today it's the side stand.

I was actually dead set on buying a VFR800 when I was shopping for my bike but instead got a really good deal on my FZ6. I thought it looked sleek and was extremely practical and looked great with the Honda hard bags.

But looking at this... eh, I'm not digging the next gen if it looks like the picture in the link. I've never been a fan of the cyclops-style headlights - especially with that sloping windshield that gives it that Maxiscooter look... then they give it a slab seat and a hideous chubby can exhaust.

I think it would be much better if they took more styling cues from the CBR1000RR.
