Exhaust Deminsions

Can anyone give me the deminsions of their aftermarket exhaust cans I.E. (scorpions, 2bros, devil, a-povic, etc..) I'm trying to find some cans that are roughly the same size to fab up a custom exhaust as I tried straight piping, and it was ungodly too loud on the highway lol.. A friend of mine had the idea of buying two different make cans with nearly the same deminsions to get a unique sound, he was going to powdercoat them to match.. I'm up for suggestions as I'm an expirimenter at heart and have a very good welder and fabricator as a good friend :rockon::rockon:

For the under seat exhaust, here are some figures I put together a while ago:

I actually bought:
- 36" of Hi-Temp, Oval, Carbon Fiber for $91 with shipping at Carbon Fiber Tubing
- 2 repacking kits from Two Brothers Racing for about $40 with shipping
- 24" of 1 3/4" perforated, stainless steel tubing for $19 at Motorcycle Parts and Accessories by Baron Custom Accessories for your Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, or Harley Davidson

I am presently creating the patterns for the inlet, outlet and exhaust tip, so that I can do some sand castings.

wow! you're going 100% custom and building the mufflers! That's a route I never even thought of, keep us up to date!

you could probably sell those for $300 a set easily if you bought and made them as an on order system. if you are good at it and can do it fairly quickly after you figure it all out then it might be a good way to make some extra cake.

Um. Am I crazy or are the ends made of wood? Won't that burn/char?
