Thought I'd join today as my husband bought me a demo 2008 FZ6N today - pick it up Monday - can't wait. I'm currently riding CBF250 so I can't wait to ride something with a little more street cred! It's white with the red stripe down the tank.

Look forward to putting pipes on it.

I think my husband's jealous - he has XJR1300 (has always had sports bikes) and now wants a second bike - probably Triumph Speed Triple or FZ1.

Any problems with the bike I need to be wary of?

Two great bikes in the family now, nothing I can think of to worry about. I have a 5 year old Fazer with 42,000-odd kilometres on it and it has been pretty flawless.

Get the winter gear on and get out there!

Already have all the winter gear - bought a new lid today - Shoei XR-1000, so I'm ready to go.

Welcome to the forum Kazza... Another Aussie... Sweet. Get your hubby on here too, I'm sure he'll ride the Fz6 at some stage, and we have another member that just traded his FZ6 for an XJR1300 too, other end of the nation though, he's in Queensland.

There shouldn't be any troubles with your bike, just enjoy it.

Welcome Kazza,I looked at a white one a few weeks back ,they look great :thumbup:

The only thing to worry about with the bike is the amount of $$$$ you will spend modding it ,lol

We do get cold weather in Perth - 1.5' the other morning! My husband has just invested in Oxford Hot Grips and he loves them. Me, on the other hand, drive to work in my Commodore - that's got a great heater in it......
