Rear hugger / chain guard

Hey, does anyone know if there is a shortened hugger available, or a separate chain guard (i.e. no hugger).

TCP makes a nice hugger/chain guard that is a little shorter.

If you just want a shorter hugger, get the dremel out and let fly!! Lots of guys have done this easy mod.

- Take the hugger off
- Use electricians tape as a 'flexible ruler' and apply a line around the hugger for where to cut.
- Use a Dremmel with a cutting wheel and follow the tape line.

Presto..shorter hugger for no cost!! I plan on doing this mod when I put my Two Bros exhaust on this spring. Others have also painted their huggers. I've seen silver ones over on the SBN forum.

As for chain guards, I've seen a few around that are 'seperate' from the hugger so you could remove the hugger all together. The ones I've seen were Stainless Steel and expensive. You could probably make you own out of some sheet aluminum or have one fab'd up by a local shop. And NO, not having any hugger WILL NOT mess up your rear shock.

That's the hugger from TCP.

kind of off topic but would the rear hugger from a r6 fit they look smaller?
