Yikes, that's some nasty air out there (more than usual for California anyways ) I hope your house is safe from those fires!

Very cool - I want to ride that road. I have a new love for goaty roads (like the one you pictured) after this weekend....makes me want a dual sport more than ever.

Air was clear up in NorCal :D

I had to stand up dirt bike style in order to save my back and keep up with my friend on his Vstrom....sat down for the tight-high-lean turns....my legs are soar today!

those roads look like they could use some repaving... :) but otherwise great pictures.. love the over the vally looks :)

This is just a fire road we took for 5 miles to get up to the top of the mountain... lots of potholes and gravel indeed :) The regular roads up there are amazing though...

My house is far far away from the fires thanks! :) The fires are mostly happening around Santa Barbara (2h north of LA), where a few dozen homes were burnt down, and thousands of people evacuated... I hear that they have most of it contained now...

Awesome pics Nate thanks for sharing!

Why did you put the fairing back on? Tired of the nakedness? :D

Hi guys, just wanted to throw my pics in too. I've been riding with Wavex and Cali Rider for a while now and finally joined up here. I used to own an FZ6 a while back.

Man I am so jealous and can't wait to get some time away from DC.

Not to be annoying, but since I can lane split legally, traffic like that actually strikes me as an exciting challenge. There is something about splitting traffic as safely and efficiently as possible that I enjoy…maybe it’s the challenge…maybe I’m just a tool.

I put it back on a month or so ago. At 6’3” the wind on my chest was just too much at 60/65+ and I wanted the rain protection and the benefit of the stock headlights. I definitely liked the naked look better but….

My Vrod headlight has been listed in the FS section for some time now with no bites. :(

:welcome: When you coming to SF?

looks great! Wish I could join you on those roads...they're nice!

Why can’t you?

Well, go my pics from Saturday uploaded....no sense in creating another thread (hope you don't mind, Wavex).

I live in san bernardino, literally at the base of the 330 to Big Bear. You guys ever get over this way to ride?
