Black for 2008!!!!! (U.S.A.)

I was on craigslist a few weeks ago an this guy was selling a naked FZ6 flat black with lime green stripes.I think he said "it's a rare custom". Have you guys ever seen a after market kit for the FZ6 to make it into the naked version?

There are no nakeds in the US. Not even Canada, I think. Even EU models don't have what you described, I think, unless the green stripe came later, but I'd doubt that if the EU follows the 'colors' game that they have in the US...and lime green is a Kawasaki thing.

I really like the black 2008 and I can't stop thinking about it when I see it. I'm thinking of the same thing I thought when I first bought my bike...going black/orange.:rockon:

yea the slow red one was terrible. probably why the still had one at the factory to use for the speedo picture.

it does suck that the pegs, levers, bolts are all silver. Trying to find some after market pegs that are black and still have rubber mounts. I don't need to be that much faster but i do like to be more comfortable.

Yeah, I think the guy did the paint job himself. But I wonder how hard it would be to convert it to the naked style? All you'd need to have is probably just the headlight. Given that hopefully the mountings the same.

I'm sorry to here you cant get the black naked version in the states. Here in Greece its the most popular version.And it looks great.Why don't you guys start a petition and send it to Yamaha US asking them to import it?

There's a whole bunch of bikes we can't get here. It's not Yamaha that's the problem, it's the EPA....
