Hello all

I seem to be having a turn signal problem. I was installing front flushies (cheapies from d2moto) and i seem have screwed something up electrically

I installed one, no problems and it worked fine. When I Installed the second one something happened and now I have NO signals front or back and the dash doesn;t even register that a signal should be on (no flashing green arrows)

I have a canadian bike so there is a daytime running light wire that isn't hooked up but i didn't think that would matter

I have tried disconnecting the lights and i have replaced every single fuse. My friend thinks it might be a relay but i don't even know what that is let alone where.

Any advice?

I'm having the same problem. I did some searching on the forum and most people have had blown fuses. I however checked all my fuses except for the main fuse. I know that one is working because the bike turns on, and so do the lights and dash. I'm thinking relay as well but I don't have a clue as to which one it might be and how to tell if it's bad. I'm going to check a maintenance manual. Any help in the mean time would rock!

I was gonna say a blown fuse because when i did mine i accidently touched some wires together and i didnt know until i got the whole thing together, then i had no lights. The service manual should show what the relays are supposed to read when tested.

Your Flasher Relay is on your front fairing. See Below. Thanks for the pic Reio.

There was. right after I posted I went back out and checked the continuity on the relay and it was fine. Then I went back through the fuses and found one I didn't check... sure enough. It was the "tail" fuse. It's the little white box with only one fuse in it.

make sure you check that one Doug

If you turn the bike on and the tail light doesn't light but the brake light does...... it is the tail fuse. Under the throttle side cover in its own separate box marked "tail". I found this out the hard way this weekend.
