This reminds me of another story about a man who made it into the DARWIN awards. He didn't kill himself accidently, but his genitalia fell off...
Basically, he took some HORSE MATING drugs and injected them into himself. Two days later, his inhuman potency finally deflated after all that time. Due to a compilation of gangrenous tissue, the doctors had his legs and fingers amputated. His genitalia fell off by itself.
