04-06 fazer 4 pot front calipers

Are there any off market 4 pot front calipers fit the original forks of 04-06 fazer??
I have been searching it for long long time..............all of them were 90mm between the screws..not fitting

Can anybody help me?

Can anyone tell me where can i find the caliper adaptor kit seen above in Jamboy`s bike?

I think its R1 caliper on before 2007 Fz6 forks.
Any positive or negative feedback about that mod?

Could pick up 07+ fz6 forks/calipers. They're 4pot, basically same as the r6s. Not sure if the calipers would be direct bolt on to pre 07 forks..

I`ve already bought a set of + 07 set of calipers but they don`t fit. :spank:
There are two alternatives i think:

1. Doing R6 fork mod (Very expensive for me)
2. Findin that adaptor and R1 calipers. (But where can i find that brackets?)

That's what i did, got some 08 forks, and wacked some 05 R6 calipers on the bike. Yopu will also need to get an 07-08 front fender, as the 04-06 front fender will not fit on the 07-08 forks...results are awesome though, with some nice discs, braided lines, and sintered racing pads!

I'm also intersting in a more efficient brakes system.

Isn't it possible to fit 2001 R1 or R6 brake calipers on the FZ6?

You can upgrade your forks to R6 or R6S forks. Then you can use the R6/R6S 4 pot caliper brakes. Do a search to find out what specific years are compatible.

For a quick/easier mod, get SS brake lines and upgrade your brake pads.

I knew that I could upgrade my fork but actually in France it is really difficult to find a cheap R6 fork and I haven't enough money to do it.
So in a first time I would prefer to upgrad the brake calipers and the master cylinder.

Is there a 4 pots caliper that woulf fit on my '06 FZ6?

a friend of mine built an adaptor using a leathe, and he asis that the results are perfects. Buit due it is a home-made solution, i want to find some "official" and "tested" adapter

but is a hard thing =(

i dont want to change the entire forks, but i dont even want to keep my 2 piston caliper of death... so i dont know what i can do... sigh
