Ok, i made a post earlier about a speedohealer i purchased which turned out to be a horrible sale.. yadayada... but after talking to a few people, i got to thinking, im sure someone with knowledge of this healer could get it to work just fine. I just dont have the knowledge or skill to fix it.
Here is the deal, purchased this item. got a real good deal, but when i got it, there was alot more wrong with it than i had been told... So i opted not to install it on my bike... I have any pics you want, and details, but i never installed it so i have no idea if it works or not.
The item came in a wet ups box, but im not sure if this really matters since it will be going on a motorcycle, that usually will spend hours and hours in the rain and snow anyway.
The things i have noticed so far, one wire has been cut and pulled through the two sides, both ends have exposed wire that seems to be wrapped around another that runs the entire length of the harness, and on one end, the harness appears to have been glued.
As i said, im sure someone has the knowledge to fix this, if not, i know NEW harnesses can be purchased for this kit, making it (in my mind) same as brand new. As far as i can tell, there is no damage to the unit itself, just the harness. So purchasing a new harness would probably be the best bet. Im not trying to rip anyone off, but i figure if someone can fix it, why not help em out rather than keeping it in the box in the closet forever.. Make me an offer and its yours, but i take no responsibility as to this unit, i have never installed it, and have no idea if it works or not. But as i said before, im 99% positive it would with a new harness.
