2008 Toy Run - attention SA FZ6 riders!

Hey, once again, thanks for everybody's concern. My full write re the crash including photo's is i the Toy Run thread, if anyone really wants to know!

But for now, let's get back to happier stuff.....here's my favourite photo from yesterdays toy run.....all the SA fizzers together as one!

From the left, "Mad" Mike (Ozzieboy), Mick (Ozfazer6), Dave "The Lurker" (Stumbles), Me (Crash test Dummy), Adrian (Adusanja......our newset member), Deb (Aussiejules missus), and the Julian...Aussie forum clown (Aussiejules).

Gotta say, that's the most amount of bikes i have ever seen together as one.....reportedly 20,000 of them.....all for a good cause, most riding with their brains in gear!

Here's some more pics.

All the boys, minus Ozfazer6...who met us later, at Macca's for Brekky!

That's a lot of bikes...and only about 30% are sort of in view!

Thanks bud, i am all good, yes i was concerened about riding the Toy Run...lots of bikes, is very unpredictable...but 99% of them, rode with brains attached.....was also worried about riding in my "Backyard", with so many Cars....I guess i proved beyond doubt why i was worried!

Goes to show our gut feeling is a betta guage than our brain half the time :D , great pic's you got thought great to see new faces and cant wait till Adrian gets up here to ride with us  LOL thought that would make your day.....

OK. Happier stuff now from me too.:cheer:.

Holy carp, that's a lotta bikes:jawdrop:. Bikes parked 4 and 5 abreast, nose to tail for 500m at least down Anzac Hwy and across to jetty road (another 400m) and 300m -ish down past the buffalo:jawdrop:.

The side of the road during the ride was pretty much lined with folk with their kids and more bikes everywhere:jawdrop:.

Got some panoramics that maybe give some idea of the scale of it all:thumbup:.

As for helping you out last night Wolf....that's my job as a mate:thumbup::noworries:.

Mates don't have many jobs really. Have fun with ya. Give ya crap when ya least expect it:spank:...lol....Drink your grog and tell everyone B.S stories about ya:D. But probably the most important mately duty though is to help you out when the brown stuff hits the fan...Job ongoing:thumbup:

Cheers
Mike
P.S. Got to get the card reader happening for Mr. Jules' stuff.

Mate, your right, listen to your gut...and there is plenty of that round here...LOL!

Adrian is a lovely guy, and he fitted in perfectly....i am sure he will make great company on rides, when he gets up your way!

Ok. Just got AussieJules card happening, and there's some good stuff on there too....I won't be posting those ones though...nudge nudge wink wink.:spank:

Going to take a while to upload to u-tube but there's tractor pull vid and hillclimb vid and a nice one as he starts to move off on the toy run.

I'll post them in their respective threads so don't be surprised to see some old threads revived.

Cheers
Mike

Re: Mad Matt's bike, did you notice how many MT-01's were around yesterday. I don't think there's many in SA, but I'm pretty sure they were all there yesterday. Saw 3 silver ones, and a black one.

hehe, classic caption for that last photo... The look on our faces says it all...lol

:)

Just going to try a panoramic shot again without shrink pic on. not sure if it's shrinking them to fit or if it's the forum. If the latter i'll try photobucket so you can see them as I do:thumbup:.

There are loads of MT01's in S.A. but they all ran out of fuel on the way there...lol.:spank::D

Ribs and toes... ouch. Must be the only things on the entire body they can't put in plaster... Geez, you do it properly when you you do it... Huh?

Umm, don't laugh at that either, it'll hurt... :Flip:

Good to see you up and about anyway. So, you got that bike fixed yet, I'm on holidays remember... :cheer:

Yell out if you need a hand mate.
