Has any one put some (clip-ons) on their bike? If so please give some feed back on what you think of them? What brads are the best? And where did you get them from? How much did you pay?

Used xx clipons on mine. I didn't like the way the front dives. I am heavy.

I love the more sporty riding position. Easier to hang off, quicker turn in, quicker straightening out. More comfortable for me, but i like the sportier body positions better.

Instead of having handlebars, sportbikes sometimes use clipons. Clipons mount directly on the forks. All supersport bikes have those. In the second pic, handlebars and clipons are compared on the FZ6

If you want to do it right, it's not that cheap. Heli-bars or convertibars are the best way to go IMO.

These are the only pictures I have right now. I took some in RAW by accident a while ago and need to convert them.



As you can see, they are mounted below the top triple (heli-bars made for a CBR11000XX Blackbird)

Dude this is hot. I did not know that you can change handlebars on FZ6. I like clipons better than stock handlebars.
Any recommendation of where to get these from. I might look into getting before next season.

I thought I had seen some pics of someone that had done this mod, but I cannot find them. If I am not mistaken, the person had also grinded off the stock Handle Bar Mounts.

The only clip-ons that fit the fz6 & do not interfere with its fairings, are the CBR XX ones. All years. But as Defy has said, the 'wise' choices are the ones that cost: Helibars for the XX and convertibars. Those allow installation without messing the bike's geometry

Defy has used the Helibars if I am not mistaken, and Hellgate the convertibars. The jotas are used by JONAC if I am not mistaken.
