Would you fit heated grips to an R1.....man, those little heated grips are neat in the cold months.

I would if I have to, I'm hoping that I'll be able to drive my truck on the really cold days. I'm way to acclimated to the heat of the desert summers so anything less then 65 starts to feel a little cool. I've actually had my liner in the last two days and the temp on the way home was 72. but I guess when your used to 115 that feels cold.:D

I hadn't really noticed the cold much lately:D. 33 degrees C the other day:cheer:. Yup, toasty warm drinking weather:scared: . :spank::spank:

I know I'm an evil, evil man...lol.:spank:
Cheers

It's not all roses here yet, mike...it was very cold up at Mt Lofty tonight...heated grips were on flat out! Face was frozen, got caught out at night on unlit road with tinted visor...

Sport Rider, i say take the truck on real cold days...your hands will thank you.

I've ridden in some really cold weather, I just hate to wake up in the morning and jump on the bike to freeze for an hour. I got caught in a hail storm one time on a standard with no wind protection at all. it was in the low 20's outside and by the time I got home I think my legs and face had frost bite.

but... I'll keep riding until I secure a Victory in the mileage contest!!!:D

I bet I could find a road rashed one thats ready for a naked conversion pretty cheap. hmmm now you've got me thinking!!!

I think his went to the race track in the sky, $2000.00 buy back

EDIT: I'm thinking matte black finish, clip ons and speed triple headlights

get err done!!!! why don't you pull the carbs on the deuce and a half and clean them. that way when I get home we can go to Borrego for dinner.

Dude!!! I'm supposed to be having a yard sale right now and I'm supposed to be packing and I don't want some a-hole cop to give me a ticket.

What does that have to do with an FZ6 and a ZX-6 anyways?!??!?!

well in a round about way... the need for another FZ6 is due to the 2up comfort, a ZX-6R is a Kawi also known as a Ninja, you have a Ninja. I feel like Mexican food from Borrego Springs(ok that one is just my A-D-D kicking in) but your main jets are clogged up, if you clean them we don't have to ride 2 up on my R1, which lessens the "need" for another FZ. If you clean your jets, I don't have to, and then we go get Mexican food!!! see it's a win win situation....

ahhhh what was the question again?

LOL....gotcha! ;)

but but......tomorrow is my last day for packing! and you have to pack up stuff in the garage......unless you want me to do it. :eyebrow: I'll just throw everything away!

wow did this thread get off topic:D let me think....

R1...check
riding gear....check

what else is in the garage????

a couple times next week i had to scrape the ice off the FZ's seat to ride her into work. The cold doesn't bother me, but i am looking forward to having some heated grips.

Do miles in the snow count double for the mileage contest?
