Can anyone shed some light on this issue? Can i adjust the throttle body #1 airscrew? Will i be doing any harm to the engine as the service manual stated to use throttle body #1 as the master and the rest of the throttle bodies to follow.
I can't say that my local agent is doing a lousy job as the ride remain the same as before it was sent for a valve check. The only difference is that the 4th cylinder is just slighter lower than the rest of the 3 cylinder where i can get a almost straight line on the rest of the 3.
I have been diligently with maintenance of my fz6.I would usually do a throttle body sync almost every 10k km as per owner manual. Things starts to go wrong after my bike came back from a valve clearance check. I just can’t to get almost straight line on the carbtune as what I had could do...
Do a quick check on your brake light and make sure your brake light appears when your brakes are activated.I have my ABS warning indictor flashing while riding and found my rear lamp was blown.A replacement bulb solved my abs issue.
I am not sure how throttle bodies sync works on a FZ6.Of course i do throttle bodies sync with carbtune, however i can't the see relation whereby adjusting the 3 tiny screws can the affect the amount of airflow passing through the throttle bodies. To my limited knowledge is that the amount of...
Ther is no difference when i replace OEM copper plug to Denso iridium plugs. There is no increase in MPG or performance.Having say that,my MPG remains rather constant for the last 40,000km at about 20km/l.
Just have my valve clearance checked by the dealer with 51,000km.Only one exhaust valve was on the loose side with CCT changed as well for precautionary sake.
This is how i make adjustment to my chain.Make sure it is mounted on a centerstand.I would adjust my chain where i need much "effect" for my chain to touches the chain guard.
Hi everyone,
does anyone know what type of spring is used on a stock fz6 2008?Linear or progressive?I can only assumed the rear spring look like a linear type to me.How about the front?Anyone?
Thanks
Can i safely said that the stock on FZ6 S2 is slightly on the rich side? What i gathered from the map is that is slightly since it stay below the 13:1 ratio for the entire range
After changing to LV exhaust system,my FC since has improved from 20km/l to 21.5km/h.Having say that,my bike could be rich to start off with.My temperature dropped by a few deg as well.:Flash:
I can't say FZ6 is the right motorcycle for me but nothing beat it in term of value for money.I really hope there is a little more torque down there since most of my riding is done on city area.
