Poll it up...How many people ride & listen to music?

I use the Scala with FM radio and FM transmitter for the MP3 player on longer rides but not in town on the daily commute with the traffic.

    The ancient art of sledging

you just gotta luv it. 5 days of drinks, lunch, drinks, tea, drinks, stumps, and while all this is going on a couple of your lucky team mates can have a crack at bowling a maiden over, while they are trying to get their balls to 'in swing', 'out swing', 'reverse swing', or just 'swing' if they...

    Aussies....show us your ride!

Yes, Fizzer more ponies, but the TDM's ponies are actually Clydesdales. FZ brilliant around town and for scaring the crap out of bigger bikes. TDM for long days and bigger distances. I'm in FarRiders, have a look, you will understand my use of the 900.

BP Ultimate...is it the petrol of choice amongst Aussie's?

I use regular unleaded and BP is the primary preference, followed by Mobil, Caltex and will only use Shell if there is nothing else. Outright power is not an issue for the daily commute. I used 98 for a few weeks. This included 3 and 4 day tours and I did not get the magical extra distance per...

Aussies, which bike mags do you read?

Two Wheels for decades and Aust Motorcycle News for nearly as long and now the occasional ARR if the articles look ok. Bike Australia was a favorite for a long time. I guess nothing stays the same forever.

    An Iron Butt story

D-Mac, congratulations to you and Steve on an awesome ride. Just gotta luv the longer days on the bike. I use a Bagster seat on my 05 and highly recommend these, or similar, Top Saddlery etc. once again well done on the 1500.

    LED voltmeter

Yes , the circuit board is in a box inside the left fairing. I have some tidying up to do and this means making everything water tight. At the moment water is not an issue (well it is, we don't have enough)for us in the lower states of Australia. Just say wet weather is not a problem at...

    LED voltmeter

Many thanks to Crashcrazy, BD43 and Fred for their great mods and tips regarding the improvement to the headlights. I did find however that there is precious little room to move in the available wattage / amperage when adding any extras to the electrical system. To ease my mind about...

Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

A good day on the bike. Birdwood was only the half way mark. Spent 2 hrs there talking with the others. Then spent 2 1/2 hrs riding the awesome twisty roads. Just amazing. Ozzieboy with those corners as your play ground I understand why you would hate straight roads.:( We left Mildura at...

Hey all you all you South Aussie FZ6 riders, who's interested in getting together for a ride?

Wolfman, Ian from Mildura. You and the crew certainly are busy. I'm quite envious of the great roads you get to play on over there. Speaking of which I'm visiting the motor museum at Birdwood this Sunday. Coming in via Murray Bridge and leaving through Angaston. Any suggestions on a good...
